I would have to admit there was once a day (about 25 years ago) where I took a hood and a trunk from a parked car to fix my dented car. It was wrong and I've never done anything of the sort since that time, but it makes me realize shit like this happens unfortunately. Guess old age and maturity are a factor. Good luck, OP.

Damn that sucks man. I would expect that stuff to happen where I live now but not out in western mass. Was it at UMASS? Cause when I went there, the door on my old accord was dented by some asshole in one of those big lots.

So they actually unbolted the whole thing from the frame and took it? That's ballsy.

Wow. If they took the whole thing, they would likely have some Tacoma knowledge, otherwise they would have been spending too much time looking for bolts and how it is attached, etc.

that's rough, buddy sorry to hear it! Nothing stings like having a car (or parts of it stolen) there's just no closure.

Those massholes! Police report -> insurance $$ (+ more money) -> new plate bumper. I may stage this on myself to convince the wife I can get a new plate bumper with tire swing out. Then I'm going to post it on here so she believes me. Wait a minute . . . Did I ruin your plan?
