Thanks, still a lot to do but its coming along. I can tell you one thing, whoever said building a cage is a workout wasn't lying. I don't work out at all but in the last few weeks I've went back to the shape I was in when I used to ride dirt bikes a lot

Just went for a quick drive on my lunch and hit the speed humps in a neighborhood and holy shit what a difference. No more frame flex, no body roll, and no more cab squeaking. I can actually feel the shocks moving more instead of things being absorbed by flexing. Being able to drive my truck today made me realize how much I've missed it the last month. Driving a piece of crap vehicle that isn't mine really sucked, driving a caged LT tacoma made a smile that wont go away :D

    Plus another sexy pic

Looks good man. Were you able to keep the defrost?

It is amazing how much more solid the truck feels around you with a cage isn't it.

Thanks, it was a long damn road but so worth it

Unbelievable how much it changed. Yes I kept the defrost too. So far the only thing I lost is the passenger side airbag, which you don't need with harnesses. The whole system is disabled when you remove it so I took out that light and the seat belt light in the dash while I had it apart.

Mine doesn't have that cuz the rear seats, lame! I want both removed! Don't want any sudden surprises if I hit hard.

That's crazy, never knew that. Just unplug the plug under the driver seat and the airbag light should come on the dash. If one part of the system is off the whole thing is off. Then plug it back in when you get back on the road

Ha my air bag light is on.....clock spring is out. No horn or cruz control. Which sucks cuz I like to hit whoops wit cruz control set at 80mph while honking the horn :)
