Well with the truck on, it reads 14.2 volts at the amp for the positive in. If I put the ground probe on the positive wire and positive probe on the ground, it reads -14.2v. I think it's gotta be that remote wire. Next stop...my garage to tear the dash apart.

I bought a 2011 tacoma that had 285/70/17 tires with black XD series revolver rims. I want to trade them for some stock trd rims and tires. Just don't have a use for giant tires. Tires and rims are almost brand new. I have had the truck for less than a month so that's about how old the tires are.

Well I fixed it! And let me say...this little sub/amp combo DUMPS hahahaha. I re-did the remote turn on wire and also bought and installed an optima red top. Re-did the chassis ground from the battery with 8 gauge (was about 14ga....) and one new terminal stud. Whenever I upgrade my system I'll change that 8ga out for 4ga but for now it's fine. Amp is only putting out ~150amps total. Thanks guys!

Well when I say upgrade my system I mean like...a single 500 watt 10. I've been looking at the pioneer pro series 10 which is 800 but I don't think I can fit it where I want to. Tht won't be for a while anyway but thanks for the offer!

I had my 600w type r in a down firing box between the rear seats for a while. Sounded great. Where do you have your box and sub right now?

On the floor behind the passenger seat. It's too wide though so it sits on the hump a little too. Like I said, just temporary.

And when I say this thing dumps, I MAY be exaggerating haha. This is coming from a guy that's been listening to stock Toyota speakers powered by the stock deck for two years

Mike I was gonna say you should have no power on ground, but looks like you've already fixed it! On a side note, who's all going to the state fair? I just looked up the line up and after missing my all time favorite aritist last year, there's no way I will miss out this year! Brantley Gilbert is in my top 5!
