I have had pretty good experience with mine other then blowing out the seal on the left rear shock, from over extending the shock. When I installed the rear lift was the almost a little over 3". The shocks Toytec sells with the kit are stock hight to 2.5, so pretty much I would have been fine as long as I stuck to the mall parking lots I would have been ok. That and no one will warranty the shock because I cause the shock to break by over extending. If you do purchase anything from Toytec just do a litte research on you're own because the people there are not as knowlegable as I thought they would be.

    Just my 2 cents.

Thanks, man. Watchung is about 45 minutes west of me. I am in Oakland.

I drove all the way up to Ithaca to pick up the truck and got a great price on it. Truck is mostly stock right now, but looking forward to modding it.

x's 2!! ha...i would love to go with icons/kings....but cant throw that much money into the truck right now...with time! After cranking my 5100s up and the ome 885s...its def a stiffer ride (as imagined) with them on the LOW setting it was nice like pillows ha

ah...someone who is smart and doesnt buy a lift in the winter and freezes their bawls off doing the install! :D

Yea I will give props to Anthony...he helped me out a ton. It woulda taken so much longer doing it by myself and without some of the tools he has. I'd be willing to give ya a hand as well. Anthony can supervise and let us use his tools and sit back and drink beers (and hand them to us)

    Sweet.

OME 885's with their struts gave me 3" in front
Dakar's with extended length bilsteins gave me 4" in rear
I'm sure the original 8 year old leafs were worn out but I gained 5" from the original leafs.

haven't had a chance to remove a leaf out of the rear to level it out

You can get pulled over and fined/towed/ticketed/raped for having a lift in NJ. Has nothing to do with inspection any longer - the cops enforce it now. Google "NJ lift laws" and you will see any modification of suspension in NJ requires a special tilt test inspection. None of us do it, but it is the law.

Yep....and so do I. Billy 5100's on progressive AAL :D

Just an FYI if you got 1-3/4" of lift from your tires that means they are 3-1/2" larger then the stockers you had and thats pretty much impossible. My 255-85-16's are WAY taller then the 265/70/17's I had and I only got 1" of lift from them.

The week before I installed my lift I had the TSB leafs installed then I threw the TSB add a leaf on a fresh set of springs. It has since settled a little it's probably right around 3" now.

Truth, elevated vehicle approval certificate. There is a maximum height, width & length law. No more than 38" tire or 6" larger than stock, whichever is less. Fender flare must cover full width of tire, mud flaps. Maximum 4 lights can be operated in the front of vehicle at night, the rest must be covered. License plate mounted no higher than 48" off the ground.

    List goes on..
