    Anyone ever used one of those ARB Bushwacker X-Jacks? I'm thinking about getting one to use as a jack in the event I need to change out a tire. Most places I go hunting has a loose dirt or sandy ground where my jack just sinks when I jack up the truck. I usually carry a 4x4 block of wood but looking to make things a little easier/simpler.

    Do you have sliders? I use a hi lift and you can buy a wider base meant for loose surfaces.
    hi lift 80$
    Base 37$

    A less expensive option if you have sliders, if not sliders will add around 350 installed.

    I would say that the ARB option is an expensive one and the 250$ is better spent on those other things you want (SLIDERS).You may be able to use the 36$ Hi-lift base with your jack to give yourself more surface area.. just an idea and my 2 cents

    Clearly I am a noob to tacomas and trucks in general. Eventually I'm going to go with a lift (suspension obviously.) Not going to go insane with it but I definitely want more clearance. I found 2 on toyotec that seem pretty decent. I know lots of people have the OME one so that seems logical but what about this other one? Its about $100 cheaper. Also in the future I plan on an allpro front bumper (or similar) not sure if this would effect responses or not.

    Out of those two i vote OME, i'd get the 885's for a plate bumper, maybe even the 886's. Also there is no need for the diff drop.
