That's crazy - was he using a spotter or what?

I think (from what I've heard) he was using his internet machismo to go over a boulder and took it at the exact wrong angle. Basically, a simple "look what I can do" turned bad.

Nope. We were all cruising along. Its not a part of Cedar Tree that requires spotters. All of a sudden I heard something about a flop on the CB. For some reason he went up that boulder. Never really got an answer to that.

Thanks! Oh goodness it is. That was my buddy's first 4x4 run with it. I don't think we have ever babied anything on a trail as much as that. I would have cried if it got scratched or dented. The matching era Warn winch worked beautifully too. Just a gorgeous little 4x4. To nice and vintage to use on many trails though.

Seems crazy that he actually flopped it. Doesn't look like there is enough camber there to flop! Although guess it doesn't look any worse than my pic and I think I was pushing the limits here.

Bobert - he was putting along and didn't see the rock that was WAY on the side of the road on a straight stretch. He got his passenger front tire bumped against it and it brought him to a stop. He gave it a little gas and rolled back. Gave it a bit more, same thing. At that time, somebody asked for a status and I was going to say that he was just about to need to get out and assess. However, the guy romps his foot into it. He did enough pedal to get the tire in the air, which gave him just enough camber and momentum to flop.

As for my pic above, I just took a few minutes to say hi to Jesus.

Still 3 + feet of snow in Mt. Baker National Forest.. Ventured up a few days ago.

It'd be awesome to get a meet up here; there's some great logging roads and trails that are all in the immediate vicinity.

Ah, ok. Typical bad move. Only works on rocks on flat ground. :p

Off topic but it's amazing how a $100 can turn a $200 .22 from this

Lol good luck with that dude. I just traded 1000 rounds of .22 for 150 rounds of Remington 9mm. That is not a fair trade at all. 500 round boxes used to be $7.99 and 50 round 9mm was $13.49 :(

With my tailgate down and my bike sideways its still about a foot too short, so I have plans of making an extension that comes off my tailgate. Need to scrounge up some more metal then I'll start building it.
