He's coming to our school next week. Heard he's funny AF
How much are you dead lifting and squating? Im up to 285 on deads and ive made it past 300 on squats but im never comfortable with form so im down to 185 today. How do you feel about those for a 150lbs guy? Beginner weights?

I don't really do 1 rep max anymore, all my max now are usaually 2-4 reps, so far 405 on the deads for 3 and 425 for 3 on squat. deads finally got stronger with the new belt and versa grips. also kicked up my daily macros and total cal intake, so now im sitting about 300 under maintance, i feel most comortable here losing about 1 pound a week and still maintaining and improving my strength. cuz cutting at 1000 below maintance was depressing, every lift got weaker and lost reps.

Dont wear the belt! Make your core stronger! I used to wear a belt a lot, now i focus on making my core stronger, deadlift 315 @ 155lb body weight and no belt with no problems!

when it gets pass 315 i wear the belt, i don't really do PRs anymore so i usually do 315 for reps no belt.

Really no point either for bodybuilding, i just do it sometimes for fun remind me of my powerlifting days.
i honestly love leg and back days, so much more satifying. most dudes at my gym doing chest adn arms like 3 times a week, i hate doing chest and arms, matter of fact i don't even do arms lol i feel like my push and pull day work my arms enough, 18" with no pump altho i have horrible genetics for biceps, lottta people's are like a ball with a peak, mine is more of a football shape, long and round.

The explanation is complicated, by about 1500 too many words. The principle is not, and the principle is where its at, not the explanation of it.

I don't think even a nutritionalist is going to make explaining a dieting program that complicated, because 95% of the people that look for a diet program have no clue what the fuck that shit is.

They need to know what to eat, when to eat it and what not to eat. BMR, LSD PCP, BF, WTF, STFU, and other such acronyms have no place in a simple no nonsense diet explanation.

Take Paleo for instance, what is it? Red meat, veggies, fruits and nuts. You can snack, eat whenever you need to and maintain your diet as it fits your body and your workout program. If you are getting tired, eat more carbs, if you are getting fat, do more cardio and cut carbs.

Food and eating is about the most simple thing in fitness, yet the one thing most people have an issue with and can't get straight; so why try to explain it in huge long ass article that a lot of people won't give two shits to keep reading after they get past BMR?

I know what works for me and what is wrong for me, I don't need an article to tell me that. I look in the mirror and I look in my kitchen. If I'm getting fat in the mirror, I change what's in my kitchen. That's simplicity.

If you do chest properly and hit it righteously it should be tough to work it more than twice/week. I hit each group once/week and find thats about perfect to give that muscle group a full weeks rest before slaughtering it again.

Agree tho, nothing feels as good as hitting legs hard. I've recently added Bulgarian Split Squats to the end of my leg workouts. Man that just destroys them. If theres anything left in the tank that will finish you off.

Ha, this is the reason I've backed my weights right off for deadlifts and just focus on form. You can smash you back up so easily with deadlifts.. not worth it for me.. I will "push the envelope" in other exercises.

Anyone who says they have never compromised on form to get that last rep or two out is just lying.. and with deadlifts that small compromise will fuck your back hard. Learned that lesson the tough way.
