    I'm pretty sure my roommate doesn't understand that the dryer lint filter needs cleaned after every load. I pulled out the filter and there's like half a t shirt in there. Fire hazard to the max.

    Wad up all the lint and stuff into a pair of his jean pockets. Ask him if he cleaned the filter when he goes "what the hell is this?" Say that this is what the filter keeps from happening; bet he will never know you did it.
