    Any updates on ideas of what you guys would like to do while in town? Cook, eat out, drink beer, go to the beach, hit up Track 21 for some cart racing (damn nice place too), wrench.....

    Spoke with SecretSquirrel today. I'm hoping we can do a lunch time meet & greet with you folks in Houston on Sunday. We'll then be headed to a park where we'll be camping out on the beach on Sunday night. Rich told me the name but I forget what it was...:eek:
    Something like 18 miles of beach to drive on or something along those lines...

    Good places in Houston with parking for a get together????

    The beaches here suck unless you go south to Matagorda or Corpus Christi area. A group of us may be out wheeling in Marble Falls that weekend if y'all wanna make a detour for some rock crawlin.

    You can camp on any beach.. bring a fishing pole and throw it in the water, doesn't need bait or anything, throw the tent up. Cops stop > tell them you are fishing not camping > profit.

    Matagorda is awesome. The further down you go on the beach - it's more shell than sand. Awesome fishing there too. :)
