    hey guys and gals

my wife and i will be celebrating our first wedding anniversary this week!

i figured i would ask on here for ideas on what we can do. i'm having a lot of problems with getting paid from work (bounced checks/no funds available) and money is a serious issue right now:(. my wife wanted to do something romantic for the weekend but i just cant afford to do anything right now since my boss is an ass:mad:.

now on a happier note, i have 150 bucks i can spend, so any suggestions are welcomed!!

    thanks,
    AK

Congratulations! Perhaps cook her a nice dinner and clean the house for her. Just treat her like a Princess for the day. Don't have to spend any money.

no, we both want to focus on enjoying our 'young years' together, travel together, that kind of stuff! we figure we will wait until we are closer to 30 before we decide on kids

my boyfriend was laid off for our 2 year anniversary. we spent the day together just hanging out then he cooked me dinner and we watched a movie. simple and fun. no need to spend money to show that you love each other :)

OK, so I won't suggest giving her a baby. Don't wait too long, you still want to be young when you retire.

 hmmm i'll take that into consideration :D

we pretty much have both agreed that we dont want kids, she just tells me that if she doesnt want a kid by the time she is 30 then i can get neutered :D

so did i, i was kinda bummed at first. but i knew spending money for something special just wasn't practical at the time. maybe you can plan something simple for your actual anniversary and then when finances are a little better, surprise her and make it up to her :)
