Ya it hurts. I was cliff jumping with my buddy at a spot that you need a running jump off of. His shoe came off on his last step and he tripped off of the cliff. He landed right on his side SLAP, it was so loud. Knocked the wind out of him and his whole side was bright red. It was pretty scary actually. I have landed wrong a few times and it hurts bad. I even wear shoes because it hurts if you land flat footed.

You got it I have some pre patent Snap-on ratchets and sockets. On socket chipped it was from the early 50's talked with my truck and boom brand new one thats just as old as you

 

Ordered my rear diff guard today. Looking into powered rear slider, have you guys seen that thread. They look pretty sweet and would be awesome for the summer.

Yup, RX only..You'll get used to it, just remember walk 10 miles into the woods and it means you gotta walk at least 10 to get out

I've got the power rear window. It's pretty awesome in the summer, before the install, I barely used the slider because its a PITA. Now I use it all the time. The install isn't to bad

 

He's starting to make a fully hidden version of the power slider, should be cool. If anyone else is interested check out BenWA, he has a thread for the slider.

 

I've been following that thread a little. I want to see what the hidden version looks like. Since I took out the rear cubbies, I don't need the hidden version but it should be cool

I would never put the power slider on my truck. If I don't pull in on the window when I slide it open or closed, the glass sticks to the gasket and pulls it out.

I know... It's done it from day 1 but I hardly ever use the slider anyways (even less now that I have the cap). I did make the problem worse though, I have a sticker on the window and made it that much worse

 

I use my slider all the time. That way the dog can stick his fatty head out the window. But, I can reach it from the driver seat. Just reach back and open it

 

My rear side windows open with the touch of a button so the dog can hang his head out. DC FTW

 

I use my slider all the time in the warmer months..

No power windows for me, but the cats ride in a carrier so they can't stick their heads out the window anyway.

 

I want all windows to open with the touch of a button, I'm so damn lazy
