I've gotten that message. Two different threads and none of you have given me the answer that I wanted. Oh well.

This is clearly the best looking grill out there. Rigid also sells a couple of brackets that will hold a bar in the lower opening. That looks good too. I have the license plate down there, but some folks in TX don't run a front plant. Any way to put a smaller bar on either side of the plate? That would look good too.

Is the "perimeter of chrome bolts" functional or are they there to achieve the 'look'

I'd like to see them coated black like the rest of the grill if they are indeed functional.

    Rigid makes some great lights.
I had some on my Raptor and will be getting some for Tacoma too.

How did those little ones perform? Are they the D2's? Did you wire them off of one switch? I'm spoiled since my PIAA's came with the harness, switch, etc. all pre-packaged and ready to go.

Anybody know of a comparison of the Halogen's to the LED's? Be nice to see a chart/table/graphic of the distance each goes.

Subscribed, want one for a 2012 with or without the LED bar, actually a LED bar with flood lights is just what I need.

Anybody noticed this picture? I like the little D2's in the corner of the lower grill. I'm thinking that if you use the brackets listed on Rigid's website for the light bar in the lower grill, you could put these there installed on 90 degrees. Anybody try this?

Those are standard duallies, D2's have 6 leds. As they have such a low power draw, you can normally wire them off one switch. Rigid includes a wiring harness with toggle switch with every LED system.

    Check out these comparison photos.

So looks like the grille for my 2012 Tacoma is set up to use a 20" SR light bar which bought together is right about $1,000. Nice stuff, but not within my budget.

Don't tell the wife, girlfriend, etc. Just do it. That's what I'm thinking. I missed a snow-can ski trip so I'm thinking that's my justification for the grill/light assembly. About the same price.

I would really like to have two lights in the lower grill as driving lights hooked to my high beams. The grill is just to be awesome.

Those bolts are actually functional, since the grille is a 2 piece design. You can however easily remove them to paint them whichever color you'd like...

Still want this for my 2012 because the stock grille insert is definitely the low point of front end styling IMHO.

I have a vacation in a week, after that I will see if the price is easier to swallow.

Back a few pages it was mentioned that a 10" LED bar version will be offered, is this still in the cards for the 2012-13 grille?
