Just heard from my doctor. Waiting to get MRI results back but may need surgery that won't get scheduled until... thats right END FUCKING MAY. And my wife just got blindsided by a teacher training that they are requiring to go to June 4. I wasn't going to be able to make it for the beginning of the meet so I was going to stay late, but now that is screwed. I am so angry right now. I will make it unless it is 100% impossible, but I know that it will be at least cut short. :pout::angrygirl::annoyed:

I have put so much money (for me) into the truck just trying to get ready for this trip so like I said, I will make it unless it is not at all possible. But I will find a way, I just hope that I don't have to cut it down to 3 days including driving. But I will be doing WAY more wheeling in CO this year regardless, and I should be able to make leg 2 of Monte's trip too.

he loaded his truck with sirens and has TONS of lights...at one point he turned his sirens on as he hit the dune haha...

one of the nights coming back to camp we had him chase us up the hill back to camp with his lights and siren going off, dukes of hazzard style

Thats what I'm thinking. As long as I am not in a sling that keeps me from driving, I will be there. Even if the trip is short. Don't want to miss meeting people, seeing and driving through the beautiful country and the final party/raffle.
When I first read this I thought that you were saying Travis Pastrana was a TW member.

Monte wheeled last year with a splint made out of a paper towel roll. I think he would say it was all worth it too. But yeah, it's definitely an awesome experience to meet and wheel with people on TW from different parts of the country.

Pssshhhh!! This crew is setup to take on every trail Moab has to offer!:p
That was on stock suspension! I'll bet those were some fucking hard landings...
This isn't the guy from Texas that was with us last year is it? I don't remember him having sirens.

Huh. I think I see a Texas plate on there. Kind of sucks I missed this although probably a good thing. I would have tried it. Although I'm not any better setup now that I was in Moab. I'm just heavier.
