Check my math for new wheels/tires setup...

After reading up on the specs in the stickies, I think I have this figured out for my new wheels/tires to replace stock ones. I have a 2010 DC 4x4 Sport with Bilstein 5100s set at 1.75 in the front and the replaced TSB leafs in the rear.

I'm looking at getting the Pro Comp La Paz 5029 which are 17x8.5 with b/s of 4.75. Tires will be 265/70/17 General Grabbers AT2. Since the new wheels are 1" wider than stock (7.5) and the b/s is 4.75 on the new wheels vs 5.5" on stock, my calculation is that the new combo will stick out 1.75" farther than the stock tires do. Am I correct???

I don't want too much of a protrusion outside of the fender wells but I'm hoping this will be enough to give the truck a better looking stance.

Would you happen to know about the TPMS and whether the OEM system would work on a Pro Comp wheel? I've searched both here and the web and found some that say it will and some that say no, but not for this specific wheel. I looked on Pro Comps web site but there is no info that I can find.

Is my best bet to call Pro Comp or is there any other place you might suggest I look?

I have 17x9, BS: 5.00" and P265/70R17 (113S) - Terra Grappler.

If you have alloy wheels now, the sensors will fit on most all aftermarket wheels.

 

I do have the alloys now on my Sport model. I'm hoping the TPMS will work in the Pro Comps; the price of having to get new ones, PLUS the requirement to have them "registered" (or whatever they call it at the dealer) really jacks the price up overall. Ah for the good ol' days of just using a tire gauge on a regular basis...
