Well, I'm not very familiar with the law, but I thought any handgun that held over 10 rounds was going to be illegal.

anybody ever used Appalachian Offroad in Westminster to do work on their truck? If so, how were they?

 

I have heard good things about them but never used them personally...maybe some other members have actual experience with them...

 

I had the ARB air locker installed few years ago, There good to work with and do nice work.

 

I live in Westminster and see a lot of the vehicles they work on out on the road.

I've never had them do anything for me, but they've been around for quite a while now, and that says something alone. Many companies like that come and go, but they've been around for a while now. There has to be a reason for that.

Mostly what see around town are Jeeps.....

 

I want to get Toytec coilovers to replace my 5100s and my local shop said they wouldnt do the install...even though they installed my 5100s a couple years ago. they told me to check out Appalachian

 

Save some money and do the work yourself if you have the complete coilover, Not a hard install.

 

I was there about 2 months ago. Mike Bosley is the owner/mechanic there. He did a phenominal job. He installed my 3" Toytec lift with UCAs and EMU leaf springs, dropped me off at Hertz to get my loaner, mounted my new rims and tires, and alligned it. His price was more than fair (~650 bucks for a full day's work)!!

The steering wheel was slightly to the left though the truck tracked true. It didn't really bother me too much but I told him about it and he spent 2 hours getting it perfect.

As a person who has had a lot of bad mechanics in the past (I can't keep anything I own stock for some reason), I HIGHLY recommend this guy!! You will be glad you took your truck to him.

 

Due to the wife and me trying to buy a house, my Tacoma is going to be sold and I am stripping it of parts I added, including bed mat, TRD skid plate, OEM running boards, Konigs w/ LTX A/T 2's, etc. Please PM me if you are interested in anything before I officially put them up for sale...I will be stripping parts off beginning tomorrow.
