South Carolina All-World star Jadeveon Clowney missed Saturday’s scrimmage with a neck injury. Furthermore, it looks like he’ll miss the rest of spring – this week – with a stiff neck and back. The Gamecocks’ spring game is Saturday.

But even before his injury, Clowney was very unlikely to even suit up for the game because the risk of injury is simply too great, even if the spring game is solely for the fans.

According to Gamecocksonline.com, Clowney didn’t participate again in Tuesday’s practice, and it’s unclear whether spring is over completely for him.

Jadeveon Clowney did not practice again on Tuesday and it’s uncertain whether he will practice again this spring, due to a neck sprain. “His neck and back is still stiff. Whether he goes another snap (this spring), I don’t care,” said Ward.

While Lorenzo Ward may not care, you can bet multiple doctors, coaches and support staff are checking on Clowney’s status night and day.

Superman is vulnerable, it seems, but it sounds extra precautionary and nothing serious.

They should go ahead and hold him out of the first couple of games also just to be sure he's ok.

 ...double team block him, run the I-formation every play & use the Fullback to triple team him just in case. All run plays should go to the right....away from Clowney....and all pass plays run in the shotgun with Murray rollin' out to the right.

There ya go.....tell BoBo I've got it all figured out for him. ;)

I'm glad we don't have to face Clowney next year unless we both make it to Atlanta.

A beast that I wish we had, thats for sure... Didn't teams have the best success against him by running it right at him?

I noticed the season before last he was fast but had a tendancy to fight off the blocker & take the outside lane most of the time. Offensive coaches see this....let him ride the block outside & they would run it inside.

    Then I realized...
