I am hoping that will be what happens. I do plan on eating just not as healthy as I do now. Nothing to excess but still I want to sample the different cooking styles of the cities we visit.

Which wax will you be using?

 

Hi Tom, I am going to try Turtle wax Ice. A neighbor used to be an automotive novelty salesmen(key chains, air fresheners etc.) and he gave me a bottle to try. I have used Mothers with carnauba and Meguiars. Not both on the Tacoma though.

 

Free is the right price. You should get two months protection with the TW Ice product.

 

I like the ice since it doesn't turn the black trim white

I do that when polishing the vehicle. Polishes will take longer to clean off of the black plastic and rubber trim than taping it up. The sealants and waxes I use will not discolor the black plastic parts.

Pick up a foam applicator pad and two Cobra Junior towels if you have the cash. The 3oz tub will give you close to 29 coats of wax. The thinner the coat of wax on the paint the better the wax works. If you have the time let the first coat sit on the vehicle overnight then apply the second coat the next day. The second coat of wax will give your Tacoma a really deep wet look.
