Yea a 2uz doesn't have that much more power then the 1grfe. Even when supercharged they are close. But would have better low end torque.

I also don't like leather seats.

 

Well it looks like I'm done modifying my 1st gen lol. Gotta buy a tundra after I graduate and make that my lt rig haha.

Actually can't say that, id like to lock it, and get longer shackles and shocks to help out the rear. But after that I'd be done

no im serious. ben actually is on to something. In an ac tundra, ill have the same size truck as a second gen, the TRDs have lockers, ill have a v8, stronger axles, the ability to run 35s no problem, and lt kits are still abundant. Ill get my taco to decent ability hopefully by summer next year, play with it till i graduate, then when i have a steady job buy a tundra and just drop 5 grand on it to start and LT the bitch. and there ladies and gents is my 4 year comprehensive truck plan. Just too much work getting a 2.7l open diff taco to the lt capabilities of a tundra, especially if im building it to be a toy.

Tundra axles are the same. Even same rear diff too I think. I know for sure the open version is the as,e. idk about the locked one.

But hey..go for it haha

If I was to build a pure LT rig. Single cab 2nd gen hands down.

and i guess tundra or 2nd gen it doesen't matter, just seems like a tundra will handle 35s a lot better, with that v8...that can actually tow shit as well.

k, once i paint it then i get to be like you.

and i am putting it on soon to be existent hoops, however i went out to home depot and bought 2 bolts and wing nuts for 1.34 just to see what it was like, and so i have a cool way to carry it for tomorrow. Then ill just use the bolts and wing nuts for my non existent hoop.

 

Yup, very functional tho I think will look much better on the hoop.

Ah! Makes sense. You only need one hand and a set of lips to do that. Leaves the other hand free...to do other things...

 

HHS no I need both. But in orchestra there are long rests. And in operas like this I don't even play for entire movements. So I brought my iPad haha

 

So in the middle of a concert the best thing you can come up with to do is make fun of my bumper lol.


And mike, I also agree it will look a lot better on the hoop. It's not like I'm goin to carry aroun the hi Lilft 24/7 ( although with the lift and tires I sometimes think I should if I get a flat) and it is a lot easier to attach it to the hoop when I'm goin wheeling vs drilling into the bedsides.

Andy has 53" of slider left, so ill at least get a hoop built, then headlight hoops later on
