Just had my tires fitted...these are 285/70/17 on a 17x9 wheel with -12 offset...only mimimal rubing on the mud flap where the it bubbles out...if the flaps were removed I would have 1/2" clearance...no CMC required...

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
Now go wheel it, or even hit a bump at a good speed with the wheels turned, you will have some triming to do. Tried full lock in reverse yet?

Well honestly I am liking the Mickey Thomson wheels better anyways.. But each wheel weighs about 4 lb more then stock, and I am sure that the bigger tires will add weight as well.

When you go up in size its hard to avoid added weight, its just something to consider when looking at your different options.

Are there any wheels you recommend that are light weight?

Keep the stockers, paint them black, add wheel spacers and call it a day!

Hate the stocker, and don't like running spacers.

Evan, I am really trying to run a wheel that has the beed lock look to it.

Actually, I am really liking those F-5's. But I don't think there will be enough back spacing to get the look I am going for.

4.5 bs will definitely stick out and give that wide/aggressive stance you are looking for

They are 0 offset i think. The mickey tompsons are -12 offset, so they would stick out about a 1/2" more than the F-5s. Im not really sure on more options with the simulated beadlocks. Maybe the toyota wheels that come on the baja but they are expensive and hard to find

The F5 is a 4.5 backspace, the same as my wheels. They would stick out a little less (around .6") than mine if you are going to run 275s.

So with those F-5's do you still suggest going with the 265/75 16?

That actually looks really nice and clean. Think there would be much trimming with that set-up?

You shouldn't have to trim anything with a 265. At worst you may have to lose the mudflaps.
