While as much as I want my 2nd gen capable offroad, I would probably want a pre-taco for serious offroading.

They bolt on to the ends of the bumper to protct the lower quarter panels.

 

I see, but he doesn't have an Ap rear bumper. Maybe he's building his own and will add them?

 

I posted that i picked them up.

 

My trail rig cost $2K, got lucky that the guy had to offload it. It still needs a lot of work but having a rig that you don't have to worry about how it looks is great.

Nice! then you have to fill the empty space that's in the bumper.
Getting the brake lines too, i got a set of those about a month ago,i just need to install them.

they are nice looking, minus the queer bed rack thing, i would take that off.

 

They're alright, I think the Tacoma is better looking over all. I hear the Hilux frame is tougher than our Tacoma frames though.

 

Yup and it is but the pile is from two years. It is 15x6 with two xmas trees. I started at 9:30 and it was very controlled due to being wet which was nice for a change usually I have to spray it with the hose cause she really gets going. I added all the fallen crap from the pool yard also
