I just looped over one end of the cord with a clove hitch knot so its hidden, then kept wrapping and wrapping and wrapping and wrapping, and wrapping and wrapping, and wrapping, and wrapping, and wrapping, and wrapping, and then ended it with another hidden clove hitch knot. Its all really tight and doesn't budge.
Its full thickness cord, I wanted something thicker than the regular thin steering wheel.

Horn kind of...sticks out. Couldn't really get it to angle down so may end up moving it again when I install a winch. Should I paint black or leave as is?

 

Got my cb installed and tuned today. Later I'm going to find a way to cover the exposed area and mount the external speaker.

If you push up the cb a little bit higher you'll be able to put the cover back on with only a little gap showing on the bottom

 

Keep it as-is. Your bumper is obviously function over form, why hide the PA?

Actually according to ISO standards, it can't be measured as that because the measurement equipment doesn't have that much resolution. You can only read down to the smallest increment of measure on the equipment. Gonna need 18" calipers for this one.

True, but it just sticks out so much it's annoying. I'm probably going to hit it with some quick black spray point just so it doesn't bother me.

I'd have to push it up a bit for that to happen and right now it's level with my console's lid. I rest my elbow on that thing when I drive and don't feel like bumping controls all day long :| It's ok though, no one sits in my back seats anyways so no one will ever know

If you push it up a little higher it will be easier to twiddle the knobs too.
