Saved my LF240s in the roll..and who knows from what else.

I know your hood it taller then mine too but if you make it right you can kinda make it a mini sorta stinger. My hood is low enough that min acts sorta like one. Kept my hood off the ground in the roll as well.

Had some time last night so I worked on my front bumper and new HID's I picked up from a fellow TW member.

In order for the new lights to fit I needed to remove the lightbar from my TG bumper. No pics of the process but I cut it of. The light tabs that I was using for my Black Magic lights were on the backside of the bumper but the internal ballasts on the new HIDs were in the way if I used lighttabs on the backside of the bumper. So I needed to make some new tabs. I didn't want the lights to stick out too far so I didn't want the new tabs straight off the front of the bumper. I also wanted the lights to sit just a bit higher than the bumper so that they centered in the grill better.

So I fabbed up a little lightbar that I welded to the top of the bumper. The 4 little curved uprights were the only part that really took any time since I had to cut them with my angle grinder. I shaped them with a flap disc. I left the old tabs on just in case.

After that it was pretty straight forward. Wired them up and took some pics. Excited to have better lighting up front now.

What brand lights are those? I plan to go with 2-3 HID's up front eventually.

    Don't call me bro.

I'm just saying it's annoying to see the same group of 8 pics two posts after the OP posted them. If your question pertained to all 8 pics then fine. but all you did was ask him what brand lights... You could have just asked him without quoting at all or quoted the last pic only...

    It just clutters the forum.

Looks good man, pretty cool that you made those brackets with an angle grinder. Clean set of lights too

Edit: I'm curious to see a pic with the lights on

    Cool story bro ;)

    Anyways!....

I may have to look into those lights, they're not a bad price compared to other HID lights...

AAL goes usually on the either the very bottom leaf inbetween the overload. Or the next leaf up. Depending on the leaf pack

Long side goes towards the rear.

Clean as usual! Quick question, are you using an auxiliary fuse box? If so what kind. I figure you have something fabed up for current and future accessories. My positive terminal looks super crowded.

The AAL should be the 3rd from the top (different from other brand AAL's that are at or near the bottom of the pack). The flat section in the middle is part of the OME design. Their leaves are all flat in the center so that the bolts don't have to pull arc out of the sping when tightened. By having a flat center the ubolts can just clamp like their supposed to without changing the spring at all.
