Got a 255/80/17 KM2 for my birthday!!! I have the bestest fiancée ever.

Just have to save up for 3 more.

I buy them one at a time because otherwise I'll end up spending all my money on one big item instead of all 4 tires. I'm retarded, I know

That's the thing, his is a IFS rig that's just as capable as a lot of SAS rigs. That thing is ridiculous! No doubt SAS would be overall a stronger set up but it depends on how crazy you want to go. That guy Silas proved how far you can push an IFS rig and looks like he hit some nastier stuff than we'll ever find out here.

No shit. All my jeep friends are pushing me to SAS but part of me wants to stay IFS.

I agree. Really the only downside is probably the CV's. But, for the cost of CV's with unlimited warranty, even if you break them every 3 months or something it's a 1 time cost. Just replace with a spare, return broken and get new under warranty, carry on.

Disclaimer: I have not replaced a CV, but it doesn't seem too difficult.Just need the correct tools and a big ass socket for the axle nut.

I say stay IFS, and just carry a few spare CV's. CV's are really the only downside unless you are looking to get crazy articulation up front.

If you do go SAS, I call dibs on the IFS stuff :anonymous:

Cut it up. Dad wants to help out . That's great ! Do it while you can with your old man . I'd love to build something with my old man. But he just doesn't have it in him anymore.
I doubt that rig would keep up with any of the sas vehicles I wheeled with today .:D
Very easy can do it in 20 minutes .atleast on a 2nd gen :D

Went to Galilee yesterday. Must have seen 2 dozen Tacomas while I was down there. Of course I was in the girl's car and not the truck.

If he helps it would have to be a project truck aka not mine. He's building a barn in the back yard currently, making the pool smaller also lmao. JUST FOR THE BARN! I love my buddies 4 Runner the way he has it.
