Thanks! Still a work in progress, but it's at the point to where I can live with it. For now....

 

Installed a 6 inch LED Pod from Jasper Off Road to augment the reverse lights since stock ones are not so good. Used the stock holes in the bottom of the bumper for the mount. The only concern is what may happen to it when going off road. It will come out quick with the right tools when needed.


You can really tell a difference between the reverse lights (LEDs from csjumper) and the LED Pod.


I almost laughed when I saw how much light there was after pulling forward to the top of the driveway and looking back. You can see quite well in the camera, although it is bright.

Thanks! I try to do something a time or two a month. My pot o' money is only so deep, so making sure I get useful things.

 

Next big look is whether to get an All-Pro Expedition Leaf Kit or Dakars. Would like the truck just a little higher and the coilovers are easy to adjust. A little concerned because I have read posts where they squeak after a little.

 

Installed the ImMrYo Rear View Mirror Bracket. It wasn't too difficult to install. I still need to do some work on the headliner. It sits too low. A little hesitant to do much cutting, but it may be necessary. Can't believe Toyota didn't do this at the factory. It really does make a difference in the field-of-view out the front glass.

 

Gave the truck a good wash today. It has taken weeks to get all the mud off. Still deciding on whether to sit still with the TSB or change to Dakars or All-Pro Expedition Leaf Kits to gain a little extra height. Don't want the tires to look too small or to gain a lot of noise from the rear leaf kit.

 

Here is a pic of mine right after doing 2"aal. It is the original rugged fail. Might give you an idea of what it would look like.

 

Thanks. Isn't that a 265/70/16? I'm running 265/75/16. Sure there are several pics, just need to find some.

 

Yeah 265/70/16 is the stock size.

 

Found a few threads with 265/75/16 with stock suspension, but none with 3 inch lift. Also found where some members said leaf packs squeaked shortly after install. Will continue to look for pics and how to stop noise.

I know it's not quite 3" lift but it's damn close.

I just did my lift of 2.5" in front and added a 1.5" AAL in rear. I have 265/75/16s. Will be taking pics next weekend after fixing my headlights.

No problem! Yeah I think they look good with a 3" lift. Not too small and yet still a bit better mileage.

 

Nothing like search and a little luck to answer questions. At least some of them, that inevitably lead to others.
