I need a new muffler. GRRRRR

FYI: deaf guys hate shopping for mufflers. That is, if they don't want a loud one.

Too loud, NO louder than stock. Quieter, if anything. See my thread on T4R.org:

A 18 isn't loud. Sounds good I have heard several. 20 would be real quite on the 3.4l

I have hearing aids, so I can hear some. I can hear my engine and it seems loud to me, compared to my other vehicles. and yes, Monte's right, I've lost somewhere around 80-90% of my hearing. Since birth.

This whole muffler deal is more for other people than myself. I don't care how the exhaust comes out, and I don't care if it isn't super quiet, but I've been told the rusty muffler is loud, so it's gonna go, and a new one in.

    Gonna go with a http://www.amazon.com/Walker-Exhaus...Quiet-FlowSS/dp/B000C93EJS/ref=cm_rdp_product

I have not heard good things about Magnaflows. Or I've heard good and bad?

I love the 18" Magnaflow. It's actually pretty quiet unless you get into high RPMs, and even then it's not that bad.

Sounds just like one of my friends who lost probably 70% of his hearing by the time he was 24 from birth. He's got hearing aids now and can hear most stuff which has been a change for him to say the least!

Yea the toughest part about a muffler choice for me was the damn drone in the cabin... I can't stand it. But if you go with a quieter muffler it's usually never an issue. I've seen both good and bad about magnaflow but I cant complain myself about the 2 vehicles i've put their stuff on...

Heck yea! This will be the second month. Craig started it all and got a bunch of people interested and it seems to have carried on into this month which is cool, but it's kind of funny you didnt catch it with how much your around! you must be burried in subbd threads and not on the main updating page much...

Yea man, your's is a friggn expo rig! and it's a first gen which is hardcore status in my book so that's the reasoning behind my vote when the poll rolls around :D

Thats what i have found to be so awesome with Magnaflows. They sound great between 1200-2100, then they quiet down till about 2600. Then its loud. So when you get up on it they sound bad ass. on the highway its quiet and around town and crawling is pleasant.
