yeah i know what you mean. i meet up with funrunner last sunday and off roaded some. and i was worred about smashing the rockers on a rock.

I had plaines to mod the taco good. but all and all, i would like to get something els. maybe a 1st gen 4 runner or maybe something as new as the mid ’90’s and just build it up for off roading. that way the taco stays nice, and i don’t have to worry about braking something and fixing it really fast so i can drive around. if i had something els and broke something it could sit for a few weeks or even months till i could fix it.

edit: there is some pic in the official TN thread, from when i meet up with funrunner. they are a few pages back by now.. also working on some videos still.

yeah, i like the pick ups as well, but i like the back seat in the 4 runner. can take some friends along with on really hard trails. my truck is an ’07 and has like 51k on it and i don’t want to mess it up. i don’t mind some scratches or dints, it’s a truck and i got it to use it as one. haul stuff tow stuff ext. but real hard off roading i dont really want to do in it.

Well after getting a few messages and people talking I would like to set up a mudding party! Everybody that is interested in going to slade to get some mud on there tires lets set a date! Any weekend will be fine for me(should be). So everybody that would like to go, let's try and come with a date to meet up! June maybe? Give people time to mark it on there calendar, get trucks ready, and permission from the significant other.

Also I live in Powell Co.(where slade is) and I know a lot of people come here to gorge, if you wanna get muddy after you walk the trails I'm always down for some wheeling!

So anybody that's wants to go post what date will work for you! There are 5 weekends in June so surly we can make one work!

Edit: Any trucks welcome! Ford, Chevy, Jeep- does not have to be a Toyota!

The Zoe benefit ride is scheduled for May the 18th and will be a big event I'm Slade. I think last spring we had around 180 rigs from stock to wild!

I don't have all the info but I will try to get it and post it up this week! I know last year we met at the Zoe firehouse between 9 and 10. It was $20 a truck to ride with the proceeds going to benefit the firehouse! Keep a look out though because I will be planning alot of rides this summer with all my toyota and ky Krawlers guys! My solid axle swap should be done around the end of the month! So hit me up or text me at 859-583-1503
