I don't know if you guys are just talking batteries and resting voltages Or something else. but batteries should be at minimum 12.6v. They will be high right after you turnn the truck off but should bleed down to 12.6 to12.8v and stay there.if not you either have alternator problems or a parasitic drain. Which could both kill batteries. Charging should be at 13.6-14.5v dc

That's ok... haha. Basically in the process of de-chroming it. Just need to paint the grill surround and do the BHLM and the only chrome left will be the rocker panels but they aren't that noticeable unless you just washed the Taco.

Haha ive already seen a bunch of slammed ones...no thanks. Ill eventually get some summer wheels and tires for it, but I just cant see lowering it. At least not that much, and even if I did it wouldnt be until I had another truck...butte isnt nice to lowered vehicles.

yuck...i drove the 1.8T the other day for a friend. She wanted to know what was wrong with her car, its the ps pump, but it was a fun engine.

This thing has some pop to it tho. Apparently its justsex when you get an exhaust on it so i have been searching.

That's what I was gonna say. I don't know how Montana is (but I assume the same as Idaho) and you can barely drive stock height cars around without dragging, couldn't imagine lowering a car.

Do eet... So worth it.The output on my old ones were great, but the new ones are ridiculous. If he knows what he wants I would consider doing another set if the price is right. The first one is always the worst.
    :D Thanks guys!
I've already got some ideas running through my head, but I need to see them first to see what I am working with.

Haven't really thought about it, but I likely would be in line with what other retrofits on here are costing. I cut no corners though on quality for mine... Parts alone cost me over $600 (Extra housings, 50w ballasts, FX-R 3.0 projectors, Osram CBI bulbs, shrouds, 2 sets of halos, etc). It took me a long time (little over a week), but if I were to do it again the time taken would be much shorter and it would be much more efficient if I were working on multiple sets at once. Most of the time was spent waiting for paint to dry and adhesives to cure. I'm thinking of starting up working on these as a side job, but I only have a month left here before I head off for work training. If I do start doing these on a regular basis it probably won't be until I am settled in Minnesota some time in the fall. I don't plan on limiting myself to Tacomas either if I do it.

Holy shit! I haven't looked at pricing for quite some time but I didn't think it was $600 for parts alone.
