I took out one of them on both sides. "Recent" is a relative term. That was last August.

Considering buying an arb for the front. Want to wheel a little with the new gears and get into situations that I say to myself "man i wish i had a front locker".

LOL. I think there is a David K signal, like the Batman signal. Just don't flip that on and we'll be ok.

All bullshitting aside, the traction control system that must not be named is better than everything except a front locker or spool. It has a true rear locker. Those two together is all this truck needs for what I'll be doing with it. I've come close to rolling it more than once, so before I get into anything more hardcore than what I'm doing now, I need that caged 4runner I mentioned a few posts back...

    ...Speaking of that...

External, and jesus fucking christ linked. Are leaf spring swaps still even legal?

Thanks. I just ordered an arb locker for the front. I was on the fence and decided to do it.

You will enjoy it. It is nice having the locker disengaged when you don't need it.

If you have nothing else up front, I consider one mandatory. I would've done the same with any other Tacoma. A-TRAP was kind of a nice surprise.

Decided I need a spot element to complement my current LEDs, which are all flood pattern. The stuff on the truck right now is FANTASTIC for offroad lighting. It's the perfect distribution for the trail.

That said, I want something for backroads at night that can reach out and find the deer well ahead of time. The flood LEDs don't throw much beyond the distance of the stock low beams.

So, ordered up a 20" LED bar from KMD Garage. Should give me a nice long throw front and center and complete things out front.

 < seriously, I might need those sunglasses if I am in front of you on the trail at night.

You going to mount this one below the top of the grill hoop?
