2 explosions at Boston marathon finish

The Oklahoma City Bombing?
The Atlanta Olympic bombing?
Postal/Letter Bombs?


The US has a history of bombings like this, it is nothing new. The rest of the world lives with these sort of things happening on a monthly if not weekly bases. We have been able to minimalism it here, but we have never been immune to it.

That doesn't not take away from the tragic experience.

 

News report claims that the 8yr old that was killed in the bombings was a girl from Sandy Cook school running in the marathon on behalf of the victims of her school.

Prayers go out to the families and victims of this tragedy.

 

8yr old was there with similar aged sister who's in critical condition, they were watching for their father to finish. They were from Dorchester, not sandy hook.

 

I keep on thinking what it must be like for the people in waking up in the hospitals today who got amputations

Even though it can never fix the damage, medicine had come a long way, and for the people who got amputations, prosthetic limbs are built very well.

 

Prayers sent to those in Boston from all of us up north.

 

not sure if yall know but they came out with the device that caused the explosion. it was a pressure cooker that was in a backpack. so now they are trying to get all footage possible and see if they can trace the backpack to the owner.

 

Just some positive vibs out to Boston.

Heads up. We'll all kick some ass and make those responsible regret it.

I think he was trying to say IED like this, most of those where trucks packed with explosives. The first thing I thought is this reminds me of exactly the same kind of attack you hear of in Afghanistan and Iraq on their own people. Just eerily similar. not really any better or worse just makes me think it may help determine who was behind this.

yes, news. You constantly hear of bombers suicide or not detonate in a market or town meeting etc, etc. Using IEDs. Im not saying they are related, it just sounds eerily similar to the tactics.

most bombs domestically made use fertilizer and fuel. Oklahoma cirty definitely not sure about the olympics one tho. seems like a step away from the trend is all im saying.

They are going to see how the bomb was made, what it was made out of and determine where they have seen this kind of design and tactic and go from there to determine the origin.

 

Hmm, the whole time I was there that never happened once. Haven't heard of it once from a single friends who is still in in the last two years either. Mayhaps the news it at it again . . .

IMO America is a little too stuck on anything that happens being radical middle east muslims . . . Again IMO (just so no one thinks I'm claiming facts here) I don't see a single reason someone would fly over from there and do this. I also have expressed my faith in the news/media above, which is none, except you can always count on them lying.

Either way, I hope the victims heal, families of the lost can heal, and if anyone has links to how we can help please post up. It's a sick world we live in, where people of any country or creed will kill each other so readily. No matter who we try to blame for people being messed up, people are the basis of the problems IMO. We can do our best to be a positive influence on everyone we meet at least!

 

wasnt trying to get political at all. And why not? they flew a bunch of them here for 9/11. they were in contact with the fort hood shooter. The shoe bomber? how bout the original WTC bombing? All im saying is dont rule it out.

And I can safely say being in and out of Iraq and Afghanistan for the past 2 years I cant count how many suicide bombings have happened. Hell how about the beginning of the year in Iraq. its been ridiculous how many have happened that have made the news over in the US.

Im not getting political for the risk of being banned. All im saying is dont rule out a crazy MFer from another country being behind the attack.

 

I'm betting it was likely some sick individual (s) similar in mental state to that Newtown douche. I really doubt it was a "real" terrorist. Either that or some westboro baptist church type idiot taking things to a new level.

You must have been a "Fober" then! I would waste more of my time on you but it would be pointless. All I was stateing was that those two bombs in Boston were very similer to IED'S in the sand box, yes there's been other bombings in America but those yesterday were road side bombs made to mangle lots of people.

I will not respond to any dumb coments. This is not the thread for that!

Speculation is just that. The truth will come out in time. Then we can fight politically.
