Tacoma Patrol Car

My buddy who is a Toyota salesman on Maui put this on his facebook page.
Thought it was kinda cool. And yes, it is a 4x4.



Now the Tacoma really is the official Hawaii state truck! Or atleast Maui county anyway...
I hope one of our Maui members will slap a Maui Built sticker on it and take a pic. Or better yet, Tacomaworld

Hawaii Cane and Sugar and Maui Electric Company already uses the taco as their fleet trucks. Not surprising MPD uses it too now.

 

Its kinda funny that they went for the sport. Maybe they thought it was faster?

You guys should see the sport Tacomas they use as airport operations vehicles in Mexico City. They are pretty cool.

Most of the lifeguard trucks around here (Orange county) are tacos. Nice and light and when aired down they float on the sand.

 

Toyota is SD lifeguards official vehicle.

They have a 2012 in use here with the Bridge Patrol. I've been meaning to get a pic of it, but with my luck, I would be driving by, snap a pic, then get pulled over for distracted driving. Haha

I found out that this one will be stationed out in Hana. Hopefully they get rid of those tires before they take it out there...

In Huntsville, AL, AAA uses a Tacoma for their roadside assistance vehicle. Seen it multiple times
