In true AL BS Thread fashion... It appears that Paul and Justin's talk of a guy "pulling off redneck" in Brokeback assless chaps has scared off the new guy.

See? This is why we can't have nice things.

Looking to sell my Black TRD Beadlock wheels. They're wrapped in 285/75R16 BFG All Terrains but the tires don't have much tread left. Dunno how much to ask for them. I just got some 285/65R18 Trail Grapplers and XD Monsters. Anyone got any idea how much to sell for?

So I've been house hunting lately, finally found one I'm going to look at. Picked up a flyer on the way home from work yesterday, set up an appt for today. I went out for a few beers last night, and decided to take a ride down to the house again one more time before I went to the appt today. I thought the house looked pretty cool, big back yard, nice interior from the pictures...and wouldn't ya know it, maroon dbl cab tacoma in the driveway. Coincidence, or just good luck? Makes me more comfortable about the standing of the house in general, his truck is pretty slick. Was kinda hoping if it worked out, maybe he would cut me a deal being a fellow taco lover...haha.

Hello all. Kind of new here, but had a question I was hoping people might be able to help me out with. It has to do with the passenger window on my '09 double cab taco. The other day I went to roll it down and the front of the window dropped into the door. After taking the interior panel off and looking at the window I noticed the "little plastic piece" that is glued to the bottom of the glass, one side of it had broke off the glass and was causing the glass to come out of the track that lowers and raises the glass. After calling the dealer to see how much the "little plastic piece" on the glass was, I was told you have to buy the whole glass (for $175). So now for my question, does anybody know any other options to get this glass or the small piece to sit it back in the track. I feel like paying $175 for a small piece of plastic is a little overkill. Open for any ideas, junk yards, internet, etc.

Welcome! I'm right down the road from you in Montevallo. I'm sure we could figure out another option. Able to use glue?

That's not a problem I've ever heard of before from these trucks.

Yeah, if it wasn't the fact I lost the broke plastic I would attempt glue. I even tried like pull-a-part or something. The best way I can see it is if I can get ahold of the passenger glass from another truck I woudl be golden. I would liek to think the window from another year tacoma would work as well, but according to pull-a-part the OEM does not match that part to any other year?

I had it happen to my honda once or twice over the 8+ years I owned it, happened to my brothers Mazda also. I would definitely check junk yards, pull-a-part, and places like that. $175 is a rip for sure, you may be able to find the piece online, and just pay labor for $50 or something....oh and I'm just down the road in Helena also.

05-13 should be the same. When I said glue, I was talking about gluing the window into the track. If nothing else, you can get a glass bit, drill and hold and wire it all together.

I'm a flooring installer by trade, and I have multiple types of glue that would easily hold that.
