ok, i googled it and images brought up both so i wasn't sure.

 

If anyone needs exhaust or a reroute done, A&A Muffler in Poway is the place to go. Its an old school shop that does all the bending there rather than piecing together pre-bent stuff, one of the few left. They cut out my "double-wall" crossover and raised it up just a touch to get it under a skid plate and above the bottom of the cross-member and still below the heat shield. Only $60 bucks.

speaking of exhaust, our suburban just caught fire from the exhaust getting to hot, it might be a combo of running lean and a rats nest.
will old/ bad gas cause the vehicle to run lean?

Speaking of which, does anyone know of a good way to touch up scratches that are down to the metal? I called a few places and they said they would have to repaint the entire panel. I don't mind if it doesn't look perfect...but I don't just want to take my touch up pen to them lol.

Or does anyone know a good company that can do it?

1. Fill in the scratch with touch up paint and build the touch up paint a bit above the surface area and let it dry.

2. wet sand the area so that it blends.

3. the final step is to polish the area.

 

anyone know a cheap bedliner shop in SD?? Line-x wants to charge me 400-500 to line-x all of the plastic on my fj.

Call me cheap but i cant find myself spending that much.

Unfortunately you get what you pay for with bedliners. I havent read about ONE diy bedliner that holds up like linex over time.
