I spend ten days camping in Utah. I’m really pleased with the tent. The tent is really easy to setup and very comfortable and roomy. We sleep four people very comfortable with enough room for all. The changing room is spacious and well made.

The only problem I can report is that on morning I found a lot of water condensation under the mattress. So every morning I had the tent open so moisture can evaporate.

You need to open a window man! Haha it'll help make sure it doesn't condensate so much. But this happens to me too. I just let it air out for a long while and usually pull the mattress and vacuum it after a trip.

I'm not sure if my wife will like the idea to open a window with 18F outside, haha.

I complete understand that is common and is NOT because the quality of the tent, is because the difference in temperature and the air moisture.

I try to explain that so if other person uses the tent, they already know and just can take some step to deal with that.
I really happy with the tent, like I said at the beginning.

IF you guys are really worried about condensation under the mattress, I'd recommend putting a sheet of this stuff down there.

    http://www.defender.com/product.jsp?path=-1|406|62335|61628|552832&id=1818021

It works wonders for that application. I use it under the bedding on boats all the time and it works awesome. It's nice because the mattress does not get wet, but moisture can collect under the sheet so you may have to sponge it out when you get a chance. Prevents mildew on the mattress because of that.

Glad you're enjoying the tent! Can't wait to get mine out again.

Great link! I might look into some of that stuff...

so i have a random question...

does that ladder support the folding part of the base? or are their internal supports that make the ladder being support unnecessary? Never thought about it to much. Makes me a little nervous to camp with some of my rowdy peers, in fear a prank of pulling the ladder out. (yea, their a high caliber group of individuals)

When I had the old ladder it sometimes would slip and not fully support the tent. Tent did fine. But it's not really nice for it..

E ladder is ment to take most the weight. But I make sure I try and sleep with my body in the part of the ten that is attached to the truck. Takes stress off that side. So I wouldn't worry

I am thinking they went back to the original style because they had so much trouble with the type that came with our tents.

Lisa's came with an original style ladder, not one of the round types.

I sometimes stake the ladder down if I think it might not be too stable. Or you could tie it off to something like the rear wheel or whatever.
