I don't think I can make it this year anymore. I've been putting off admitting it until now. Bummer. Next year for sure.

I keep seeing all these vids of jeeps. remember you have a longer wheel base and less of a chance of tipping over because of that. you could make that just fine Brady if you wherent on little girl tires.

Hey there are quite a few of us on little girl tires! ;) That and unfortunately longer wheelbase doesn't do much for rolling sideways. It does help some if the hill is approached at an angle, but doesn't do anything if the vehicle is parallel to the slant of the hill.

The perk there is our longer wheelbase should help keep up from being so off camber on that ledge. Our back drivers tire should still be swung back enough while turning into that ledge to make us more stable on that and less tippy. Hope that makes sense. Can't really think of how to word it better... haha

This video shows what I mean a little. What he does looks sketchy (mostly because of how tall he is) but he isn't cambered nearly as much as the short wheelbase Jeeps.
Skip to about 2:40 to save yourself almost 3 minutes.

That makes sense, that's what I was trying to word in my first post.

agrees. Unless the whole truck is parked parallel to the downward slope (meaning if you came at the obstacle at an angle) the back would be able to stay more in the safe zone while the front got closer and close to parallel.

I wish i had 35s...i dont want little girl tires. My 33s look so small sometimes :(

35s would be great, but I would want to regear and do a lot of other mods that I has no money for.

Psh I am still on stock 265/70/16 or 30.6" tires. I will pick up some 33"s during the summer, but I am not going to have the funds before this trip. I already spent all my money on (I got my truck 08/25/12). Bumper, sliders, winch, lights, tent, hi-lift, CB, skid plates are being made, and a bunch of other camping/4 wheeling stuff I didn't have. Good news is now that I have it I won't be buying any of it for a while, but damn all that crap adds up.

Don't get me wrong i did Moab on 33's and one locker truck did awesome.
And i love my 35's cuz i can do so much more now but the cost is high first i had to regear then i had to make more room for them AKA more lift and then i have to keep fixing all the shit that i blow up cuz my truck Trail loaded is 6K so it likes to snap front ADD and CV's like they are made for a polaris

They are custom length and the fronts have to be spidertrax as I'm using the knuckles and stubs. he said they get them done sooner then quoted most of the time but that's what they are giving me as this point.
