See I wish I only had to wait for a break from the weather. I have to take so much work home that even when it's nice it is hard to spend a day on the truck period. I just want to get the sliders done before Moab. I might end up paying a dealership to do all the fluids at the rate my truck time is going.

yeah. i can see how that would make it difficult. i got quoted about $200 for the diffs and transfer case, and that is NOT using synthetic. i can't justify that when i know i can do it myself. you are welcome to use tools and shop space if you need though.....just throwing it out there

I wish I would have changed the diff fluid before putting the skid back on there. It is such a PITA

Why do you have to change fluids before Moab? Thought you did that every so many miles?

I'd do it just for piece of mind before a big trip like that. So you know it's all good.

I have two if you want to borrow them. I wish I was at a saving money part but I get to start a new build.

Yeah I am just over 80k and he maintenance schedule calls for all driveline fluids to be changed. Might need other stuff but figure that is a good place to start. A long drive plus hard driving in hot weather needs a vehicle in tip top shape.
Joey, I got an air ratchet and that made all the difference in the world on that skid. Won't do it any other way from now on.

Noah I have cb parts to buy, I just hope the old cb that was given to me works alright. It did save me money so I can spend more on the antenna now. The wife also got me some decent walkies to use when I am with a group where someone doesn't have a cb.
My big choice now is do I keep the gopro or take it back for money for spare parts?

Yeah and you gotta wonder what that is that makes your water taste bad. Is that the BPA that they think might cause cancer?

maybe it's because i drank all of my water straight from the hose %90 of the time when i was younger but water tastes like water..... no matter if it comes from the hose or a bottle.

I love drinking from the hose. Maybe just because it reminds me of when I was little
