If you have the stock steel wheels, the sensor is not a direct swap. You can still use the sensors and a band strap kit that essentially straps the sensors in the middle of the wheels. It'll look something like this:

Word! Thank you fellas...I can't wait to get these bad boys in the mail...I'm likely going with BFG ATs or Duratrecs for my tire choice...I still can't make up my mind ahhhhhhhh!

Hey Evan or Chris...Since you fellas are running both of my choice of tires do you have any input on which is better? Have either of you run both sets? (BFG AT and Duratrecs)

:duel: duratracs, just because :p. but seriously the only other AT i have ran is firestone destination AT, which doesnt even come close to the duratracs offroad. The main selling point on the duratracs for me was the great reviews for deep snow. And they live up to their reputation, i had no problems pushing through 2.5 feet. Also i like the looks of the duratracs with the deep treads and aggresive sidewalls. They are a little loud for a AT, and i have heard they have weak sidewalls, which i haven't seen yet and i am not to worried about on a light truck and plus the tires have a warranty. Both options will be a good choice, i think the duratracs are a little lighter, but BFGs are time tested and alot of off roaders swear by them.

Great info, thank you. Yes the Duratrecs are lighter and I've heard nothing but great reviews on them. I'm thinking the SCS 6s will look positively badass with either set though.

:duel:I think Evan did a good job summing in up. BFG's are known for their longevity. Duratrac's are likely better in winter because the rubber compound they are manufactured from is softer. However, the softer rubber will also cause them to wear down faster. Especially in warm conditions. I looked at the Duratracs as a tire option, but ultimately got a better deal on the BFG's. A lot of guys on here to do a lot of rock crawling have complained about the weak sidewalls of the Duratrac, but I assume if this is your cup o tea you might be considering a load D or E.

Personally I like the clean the sidewall of the BFG. The Duratrac sidewall has a lot more goin on, though that too has actually gown on me over time.

    Good luck with your choice.

Thank you Chris! If I stay in CA then I'll be getting the BFGs because I know they will last longer with the warmer climate here. If I move to Colorado I'm getting the Duratrecs.

Probably because of the low BS of the wheels you COULD, but if I was you, I'd slap those puppies on, get the wheels and tires on and get it a real good alignment. Just my .02

Vin, have a pic of the Gunmetal with the sliver TRD center cap? I think that's a cool look and was wondering what it looks like on that color
