I need to know what month this was and if I could get the teardrop through :D.

It has 15" clearance (except near the back stabilizers) and the body is as narrow as the truck, and the fenders stick out just a few inches more. Tire sidewalls might be a concern of there are areas of jagged rock.

Yes, we all chip in. You carried the firewood and I built and started the fires IIRC. Its called teamwork Benjamin!

But if you want to take all the credit go ahead. Just hope you remembered to pack everything you need....you're not borrowing ANYTHING from me :p

    ooohh...me likes
I do like colormatched parts - helps to blend in a little. Probably why I don't like most aftermarket bumpers and such.

That was.....September I think. Fall only lasts about a week or two so seeing the trees like that is rare. And yes, the teardrop would make it. Or you could leave it at the campground at the start of the road if you were really worried. The second road, the one that climbs up the mountain has a couple of REALLY tight turns that can be tricky to maneuver - I've never seen a trailer up there. And you could definitely make it up the Beartooth Highway, its pretty slow going anyways due to the tight switchbacks. This is the average size of rocks you will encounter in that area:

So....will you be joining us for the WY meet this summer when we're in that area or do I need to start planning a special meet? Last year we had the Krappy meet and the Homer meet. I guess this year we could have the Scocar meet...

The trailer tracks real tight with the truck. Are they 3 (or 4 or 5)-pointer turns, or just tight?

We won't be up there this summer. We are starting to shop for a new house and will be staying closer to home, and must do out East Sierra fall colors trip in early Oct this year. It is the exact kind of trip we got the trailer for. Lots of photography, changing camp sites every day, etc.

But we do plan to do a couple grand loops of western Natl Parks in the next couple years.
One will he head to Denver, visit friends, then go north up the Rockies, Wind River Range, Jellystone, Glacier, and back through Spokane to visit my best friend and his wife, etc.
The other will be similar, but take the southern route back through the Southwest parks, Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon, Moab, etc. and visit friends in, uh, somewhere in NM.

That is the extent of our plans so far, very general. Need to do some actual route planning for a reality check, and we want to do as much as we can OFF the interstate. Any suggestions are welcome for must-sees, and Beartooth/Joseph are now on that list!:D

One turn (right turn on the way up) I can make in one shot if I drift over to the outer edge of the road and turn the steering wheel as far as it will go. The other turn I can make as a 3 point turn UNLESS the snow drift is too big then its a careful balance of making a 19 point turn and not getting my rear passenger tire stuck in the drift and losing traction in the rear end.

When you guys want to do some serious planning and setting out some routes then we need to talk  I can get you to some great areas.

    Cool, thanks.

Yeah, more like several trips. I know each one as described would be like 4 weeks.

I also need thorough, up-to-date intelligence on all local brewery tap rooms. So get on that.
