Use the drawstring from one of the crown royal bags to tie the shifter off in position when on the trail

 

does the tcase have the stronger spring in it? i think it needs one when u get away from the j-shift patter stick. marlin sells one. all it is is a spring to fit into the factory spring

 

I imagine it does. Dave'z was supposed to have everything setup for the triple sticks but I guess I should call and ask. Oh wait, he doesn't answer his fucking phone or call back.

 

I am trying to readjust them now hopefully it will help.

 

I think and hope I found the problem. The first thing I should have checked is boot or body binding. The rubber mat I put down had moved up against the shifter . I trimmed it out some more so we'll see how it does tomorrow.

I'll get some pics and vids tomorrow. BTW the HD engine and trans mounts are beef. It scared the crap out of me the 1st time I let out the clutch.

 

i had the HD mount from Trail Gear and OMG, that shit damn near vibrated me out of the truck. ran that for a few weeks until i got the OE one. that was alot better

 

Yea that would get annoying in a DD. I pulled up to the gas station for some fresh fuel and this guy thought my truck was about to explode because of all the rattling.

 

Well the trucks not a dd but even still, when drivin it I don't wanna deal with that crap

I'm gonna drive this pile of jap crap to work this morning and hope it doesn't shake apart.

 

Well I do not have a heavy duty spring and the shift boot is causing the stick to vibrate out of gear. I'm going to take the spring out and stretch it and see what happens.
