    10.5 is a decently wide wheel. even a 275 is a small stretch. a 245 is a pretty fat stretch on a 10.5 in wheel.

    mines aren't in the best shape anymore. it's not urgent, but its on the to do list for me. i haven't noticed any cracks though, I would watch out. these fakas can snap :(

    Thought so. There is a whole thread on this over on XRU. Apparently I have one of the older arms. They newer ones come with an extra plate on top of where mine is cracking. I emailed DJM to see what they are gonna do.

    Yeah I was looking at it haha many I just like the wide aggressive look I just not a fan of my whole lip hanging and exposed I've seen some people on 245 with 10.5 and stretch isn't bad at all since the tire is a 245/45 leaving a lot of sidewall
    I've been also thinking of running 18x9.5 on 225/45/18 so I can get lil stretch and be smaller tire I rub like crazy on turns

    Brah that looks scary....... That looks like its right on the weld

    in regards to coating the arms mine were flaking right out of the box and damn i wish i powder coated mine from the start, bad move ;( BUT MINES HAVE NOT EVEN BEEN ON A YEAR i dont think so i may spray them with this undercoating from rustoleum after hitting some bad spots first with a wire brush. the guys who snapped on xru looked like whodats same spot and then inside you could see where corrosion weakened the arm and ended up snaping

    Make sure you buy them directly from DJM so you get the new kits. There is a vendor over on XRU that carries them. His name is DJMDIRECT. Any other site will most likely carry the older kits (my case).

    Guy on XRU has been running new kit for 3 years with no issues. Yeah it's pretty scary that this happened, but unfortunately it's the only major drop available to us :(
