I'm pretty sure the Benchmade HKs are not made in USA.

I bought a Nimravus for a friend awhile ago. Nice knife. Big blade made from 154cm at a pretty low cost. There is also a smaller version.
What style of fixed blade are you looking for?

Never seen one, but looking here:
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Benchmade-K...717?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item43b9fe31ed
Looks like some kind of plastic clip or you can use the cord. There are cheaper ones on Ebay, but this particular listing has some nice pics
I prefer handles with scales myself tho.

Yeah, they call it Tungsten DLC (diamond like carbon) coating. I actually carry and use that 0200 pictured a lot, and use it at work. But it really doesn't show.
I love my ZTs. The only ones I didn't like was my 0400 cause it was a pain to sharpen but looked cool, and the newer 0700 cause it was just a little too plain.

What are scales? Sorry this is my first real nice knife purchase so im not really super knowledgable on the terms. I love the skeleton look but id have to use the paracord as the barebones grab gets kind of painful after awhile.

^^^ your sig makes my mouth water. I want to know what she's cooking :D

Just the handles. Like the micarta, wood, or even plastic handles. I like my knives with some thickness. Paracord wrapped is a little better, but still feels too thin for me. Unless its a neck knife, boot knife or throwing knife.

    Moar pics please :)

Either one is not gonna be cheap, The nimravus is made from premium 154cm, and the Adamas is made from D2 tool steel. The D2 should stay sharp longer, but best to use a diamond sharpener. They will wear out normal stones quick. S30V also. Benchmades have lifesharp anyway, so just send it back.
but keep watching ebay, sometimes you get lucky, or look for people taking offers.
If you search ebay and click completed listings, you can see what they sold for. Some sold for $100.

Here's my mini spyderco keychain knife. My cousin married the guy who's family started spyderco so they give these out to family quite a bit
