Installed Sittin Sic Sway Bar on my Reg Cab...FINALLY!

Damn getting these rivets out is a bitch and a half!

they perished under the rule of my grinder and sledge and punch and sweat and tears lol and lots of swear words ha ha ha

 

whats to keep that part of the open frame from flexing and ultimately breaking off in the future i need to ask here??

hey just a question would I be able to run the sway bar with a rear drop of more than 4" cuz i plan on being 6" drop out back and really wouldn't mid a sway bar out back to allow me to hang turns without sitting on the dayum frame

 

Although this is a really old post, it looks like "Sittin Sic" and related swaybars are no more? Doing some research for my 2013 regular cab and these look like quality bars.

I'm not sure why I haven't considered doing something like this until now. I had the TRD rear bar on my dropped 08 Tundra and it made a massive difference in how that pig handled. My 4x4 Taco isn't lowered, but, I'd imagine that would still benefit from something like this in the turns. I do worry a bit about low traction situations (rain) tho. Is the truck tail happy now?

I see that you may not be able to answer me on this since you've done a dual exhaust setup. What about the exhaust? Do you think the end links would contact the TRD catback ?

There's a local guy that has a Hellwig kit up for sale. He's only asking $200. Hmmm. I do like the idea of using an OE bar tho. Gonna cost me a bit more to go that route tho. That, and I will still need to powder coat it and the end links red too. Coz racetruck.
