    We'll be passing by the Mailbox on Sunday so they'll get a chance to see it. My undercarriage us rusting because of it. Too bad there's not a car wash in Afton Canyon.

    The only reason I'd like to go through Soda Lake is for the new guys to see Afton Canyon. However, we can go around the lake, hop on the freeway in Baker, get off the freeway the next exit and get back on Mojave Rd. like we did last time. This allows us to skip the lake but still go through Afton Canyon. We'll see how it plays out.

    Afton Canyon was fun, wouldn't mind doing that again if it works out.
    The freeway bypass wasn't too bad... just lots of traffic when we did it last time.

    Ahhh...Soda Lake is one of the best spots in the western part of the Mojave Rd as well as the dunes and Afton.
    You guys just need to do a an under carriage and suspension wash on the way home in Barstow and you'll be alright!
