Can I make the hi beam indicator light dimmable?

Is this possible? I hate that its the only light that doesn't dim.

 

On my 2006 Gen 2 DCSB

 

Why would you want to dim the high beam indicator?
Do you drive with the highs?

edit: im guessing you mean the low beam indicator and if so no you camnot dim it

 

Remove it, then move the dash illumination to the HVAC illumination on the back of the dimmer.

Dash lights off when the headlights are off, on with the headlights, and no stupid light bulb.

 

You can swap the LED to a different color. I run all UV leds in my gauge cluster and its very dim. Tacosunday can help you out with that. He has a LED thread and does good work.

 

The blue light that comes on when you hit the high beams. Thats the one I want to be on the main dash light dimmer.

 

^^This. Tacosunday replaced the leds in my truck and he also took out the chime and some other lights that I didn't care for.

 

then you would need to figure out which wires that go into the cluster to tap into to make it all happen...

but why would you want that light to dim with the rest?

 

Because when I dim the dash lights I have this bright blue beacon shining right in my face. It defeats the purpose of dimming the dash lights when I'm road cruising for snakes!
