Honestly, the whole 'dip your car' kits actually seem to come out looking decent enough. The rattle can crap I can't stand, I think it looks like complete shit.

I did see a flat white Tacoma and I kinda liked it. I can't remember if it was derp or vinyl wrap. I'd consider vinyl wrapping my truck. The stock paint is shit, I've got chips all over the place

 

I'd wrap it too but if it wasn't the same price of a decent paint job. $4700 for a wrap

 

I've gutted my truck before. I wouldn't mind taking an afternoon to gut my truck and then have it painted the right way

 

Best thing I ever did to my 95. Got rear-ended and the insurance co was paying for most of it, so I paid for the rest.

I plasitdipped my wheels twice since I've owned the truck......I remember whippersnapper I think saying it doesnt hold up but mine holds up great. Only reason I did it over was because I wanted to.....I cant see it not holding up decent on the whole truck too.

I dont think I would shell out a lot of bucks to repaint my 08 but like you said Pugga.....stock paint is shit. Got chips and light clear coat in a bunch of spots. I love how flat black looks so I'd consider going that route once my trucks paint gets too hard to look at.

Saw some dude with a totally murdered out taco in flat black on here about a year ago.......loved it.

 

I have a set of TRD Sport wheels that I think I'm going to paint black but I'll do those with rustoleum. I would love to paint mine flat white. I saw a 2nd Gen in flat white and started drooling a little

 

I am still plasti dip free also, i have used it, but it was on my friends truck. Vinyl wrap is pretty sick though, did you guys see the guy that did army green vinyl wrap?
