It's sad to have to put her up on the market, however she deserves a new owner. Great one owned vehicle, Just have to sell due to the price of gas as I have to start driving nearly 40 miles a day just for college and academy classes come Aug. Looking to get a Lexus is 250/350 for better mpg and more suitable for everyone.
Trucks a 2007 Toyota Tacoma DCSB Prerunner. With rear locking Diff.
    TRD Offroad
    Mods:
    True dual dynomax exhaust.
    K&n 77 series CAI
    Thorottle Body spacer (AFE)
    Locking tailgate
    Adjustable 3" Blisten 5100 lift

Truck needs a good owner, she just hit 85k however the mileage will rise do to it being a daily driver. All services were done by Panama City Toyota. All recalls have also been taken care of.
    Asking 20k obo.

My girl has a 2008 IS. things pretty sweet super quiet and smoothe and a badass stock sound system, but the 2.5 L v6 just has no nuts off the line. I'm just under 6'3" and have a hard time fitting in it properly as well, especially with someone behind me, but other then that the car is pretty sweet. shes had hers for over 2 years with no major money out of pocket other then usual maintenance, lost a water pump but was coveered under warranty. However, that 2.5 L is good enough for Lexus though cause like on the tacomas and the 2014 tundra, even though they are going through a body style change for 2014 they are keeping the same powerplants on both the 3.5 and 2.5 L engines. Just like the 2.7 the 4.0 the 4.6 and the 5.7. Hard to give up a good taco, but the new purchase should make it a lil easier. good luck with the saale and search of the new one

I heard there acceleration and speed was alittle lacking. How bad is it really? I would get the 3.5l is350 but MPGs would shoot right back down 5-6 so I dont feel its really worth it. Hopefully after some mods on the 250 some response on the acc. will come.

Speed is fine, especially when the car is up and going, it just lacks torque so it struggles from a stop. they run 0-60 in 7.9 where the 3.5 packs another 100hp and shaves almost 2 seconds off of that time, but as you mentioned you will lose mileage. If its your daily driver you will be more then happy with the 2.5 L. smooth quiet and powerful enough to pass on the freeway but if you're loking for a sport sedan u may wanna look more into the 3.5

Backup cam in the tailgate handle mod.
If your gunna sell your truck for gas mileage you might as well buy a Prius!
You can save a lot more cash that way for when you want a Tacoma again in 6 months! Lol. Beautiful truck GLWS!

How is it you have no money for gas but have the money to mod the shit out of your 2 wheel drive truck to look and act a 4x4 and now you plan on buying a car that doesn't have enough power for you but better gas mileage and then mod shit out of it?

But have no money for gas?

You'll make a fine business major or someones boss because that shit make ZERO sense.

You sir just made a horrible assumption. Back before the oil spill I ran charters with a family friend for 2-3 summers back when I first got the truck, that stuff didn't get done overnight. After the spill their boats got contracted out to bp for clean up services. Aka no job and thats where gas became a problem. Especially now since my college academy class is about 40 miles round trip plus another 10+ for daily driving. With the new car, its a 2011 Lancer gts. And the only mods I can do now are plasti dipped rims, cost me 30 bucks.
    Thank you.
