Nobody ever said you had to choose one or the other. Why not go with both?

That's the beauty of it, for instances where you need your own time they can entertain each other. Hard to do if you just have one or the other.

Who the fuck id this n00b?

Not everyone has the same crippling addiction to cocaine as you though.

I've had two thoughts, both aimed at toning down my chrom-toshi... One was doing a LIGHT tint on head lights, then carry the tint across the chrome (with night shades?) to match... Kinda a black chrome but no where near black.

Option 2 is paint or vinyl eyebrows that carry across the upper part of the grill to for a unibrow ( ha!). I've mocked that one up with black tape and think it looks pretty good. Prolly try it in plastidip (not a huge fan, but like the ability to remove in his situation) just to make sure I like it. I've also seen the fiberglass eyebrows, might try a set of those as well

I need to polish headlights first regardless.

I wanted to do light bar too, but haven't really seen one behind the grill that I've loved. I like the 50" across the roof or flush mounted in bumpers, but I'm not in a position to do either. Cross that bridge if/when I get there

To be honest I can't stand the whole 'eye-lid' thing so I'm not the right person to help you with that decision. I also go out of my way to make my headlights brighter and better so the last thing I would do is tint them and lower the seen light. But, it's your truck so you can obviously do as you wish. personally I would go black (like with plasti-dip method) or color keyed which is what I chose but I prefer things to look more stock than messed with. That's just me.
