What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

I saw that on the news! Even before the other car rolled in, I was already going NOOOO! Then I realized its a taco we are talking about... yank that up outa there and it'll be good to go

 

This is what I did today along with MontanaTaco! MonatanaToco has the blue rig and the whit one is mine.

 

How are your hi lifts mounted? That's pretty cool looking

 

Found a brush guard with hella's 500's on craigslist $100.

 

day one done.. got my new rack & pinion installed, new upper and lower ball joints on my spindles(waiting to be mounted) new bushings in my UCA.. i have to get the lower arms out tomorrow and replace the bushings and then put in my new tie rods and wrap it all up

I installed my clutch yesterday, Competition Stage 3.

 

Installed the 3 in ready lift plus new bf all terrain tires with American racing wheels

 

^^^^^Looks awesome, but you are in the first gen section. There is another thread for second gens in the second gen section.

 

I bought that Wipe New stuff and applied it last week. Looks real good-VERY black now instead of that slightly gray-black and very tough stuff-some got on my glasses and it won't come off lol. It gets very dark as it cures. Hope it lasts like they claim.

 

Let me know how it works! I'm trying Penetrol right now myself.

 

derped my rims and flares until I need new tires and have time to pull the flares off and do 'em right (still looks waaaaaay better than stock)

got my ELM327 cheapo hooked up and played around with all the android apps available.

Anyone here replace there lower control arm bushings without cutting them? How did you separate the metal sleeve the get the old bushing out?

 

cleaned up my taco after last nights adventure. Did great for the maiden voyage!

 

Changed my oil today

 

Washed it. I was going to wax it and clean the interior, but for some reason the wax I have just leaves swirl marks now and it ticked me off so I gave up...

 

Icon stage one kit with allpro expo leaf pack and 1.5 inch shakles. I will adjust the front once my rear bumper is complete. Rides like butter!
