LOL I know, I love it. Everyone kept pumping them and loving them, when the best way to rebuild has shown to be a combination of drafting, trading, and UFA adding. Leafs, Habs, and Sens have all just done it and now the Flames will and all didnt have any high picks, other then Galchenyuk, but its not like hes carrying the team this year

What i like what Montreal did was they added some grit, worked on a some younger talent, some of them matured, some of them well never came through. We have two rookies that look to be 30 to 40 goal scorers in the near future, which we have had two on our team in a while, whats nice is when Gallagher went cold(to say) Galchenyuk starting lighting the lamp

our weakness was shown we lost (y)Emelin lol, we no longer had our shut down D man and it shows, Markov looks like a good player but ..... hes a -11 and really hurting us atm, I guess well see, Tinordi is susposed to be really good and the kid and than we have Darren Dietz in the WHL who is amazing, watched him in Edmonton this past year and his vision is amazing, but I still think hes a few years away

Montreal also needs to get rid of White which I dont think will play another game now as a Hab and add another player of the caliber of Prust. I love Colby Armstrong and I think hes a good filler and tbh he may be an answer atm to some moral issues, but Halpern is a better player and they both fill the same role...

We do have some trade bait, Leblanc should be tradable but he needs some attitude adjustment and the last thing we actually need is more small players

Our Goaltending has not concerned me until lately but it may be a hey im comfortable were in the playoffs, but its the weak goals that kill me, the other night though we seen some of the regular Carey Price back against Tampa he has some outrageously good saves, but time will tell, its looking like it will be a Montreal Leafs first round, unless Boston really shits the bed like we are

    now onto the Oilers

heres problem number 1, you cant just draft draft draft draft, you need some type of logic behind it, taking the best players will not do you any good, I was honestly confused last year when they did not take Morgan O'Reily, they have done some good they signed Justin Schultz but the kid needs some help and mentorship in the NHL ASAP, if im in the Oilers I sign the likes of Wade Redden to a small term contract and I trade/sign a goaltender to take half of the net time with Dubnyk, Dubnyk after watching him this year with a defense MAY be a starter, but is not a 60gm a year goaltender so you need some one to share the load and it cant be a goalie like Bulin who is better the more he plays

they need to get rid of the spoiled rotten attitudes, and some of these now 4 year guys need to step up and teach the 18 year old guys to meld better

I did feel bad for the Oilers this year, had RNH been able to put anything together this year and Hall been able to light the lamp they may have been able to push for a playoff spot, and maybe just maybe thats what they needed to spark some life into players wanting to come play there

Mac T will fix the squad up, he is the reason Pronger landed in Edmonton and helped J Schultz pick edmonton, I really do think maybe getting a guy like Gretzky in to help mentor the young guys would help (what i mean by this is ask him to come sit and chat with them in an off topic kind of way, kind of the way Lemieux does still)

Leblanc is only 22 though and was never suppose to crack the lineup so soon. Should come along in a few years

as much as I'd like to see him suceed hes play is very soft on the puck

i watched him a couple times before the NHL fired up in the AHL in Hamilton and he just doesnt seem like he enjoys the game, idk maybe it was just the games I went too, but he doesnt have the passion I'd expect out of a young guy like him

They drafted the same type of player every time is the problem. Left guys like Landeskog on the table for more RNH to go with the already small soft Eberle and others. Even Reilly is small, and they need more toughness and character

IMO RNH was the best draft pick, at that point for them, but they really needed Landeskog aswell, they needed the good centerman

I hope they can trade for some talent, otherwise itll be 8 years in a row I dont get to use my season tickets in the playoffs :p

haha, well I would have traded Eberle or someone for the 2nd overall pick to get him. They needed him bad

yes and I agree that they needed Landeskog, but as of late you can trade for D men and even sign them in the off season, so well see what they do this off season, this is a make or break year for them, they cant keep the young core together for that long before they get bored

ya well I agree 95% of leafs fans are delusional, same with other major sport teams like montreal and NY. Im not one of them and understood a player like Reimer was chosen in the 4th round and usually a goalie that undeveloped takes years. When he wasnt injured like now, hes pretty good
