I wouldnt want to own and drive that particular one because it is so nice and I dont like attention but if it had been produced many would have been sold IMO. I would think it would be fun to cruise through the woods with the top off and still have a toy.
The owner is no idiot he has an investment ,,,again IMO.

Ya... looks more like someone's summer mod project than a "concept vehicle"

A "2001 concept" would have been shown in '98-'99, and may have had the updated grille, but the dash would have been more fanciful and less "current production"
Even the T150 concept was very close to the production 1st Gen Tundra dash.... and the body was closer in style to the '03 Tundra facelift.

This thing? Access cab with no rear doors. Back seat pads with no backs, just used to house production tube subs. A concept would have had everything integrated seamlessly into a glass shell back there.

I dunno man, sometimes concept vehicles end up being a hodge podge of parts and sometimes they're just for show and not everything even works. I wouldn't rule out it being a factory concept vehicle. Regardless, it's a horrible idea. Leave removable tops to sports cars and Jeeps.
