thanks brotha, i personally like the duratracs. little hum on the freeway and grips rather well in the rain and mud. i wish i could compare them to another set of off road tires but these are my first set; but they are def. worth better than the stock ones.

sorry for the late response brotha, mines did not require a cab mount chop. the only rubbing issue i had was with the front tires front mud flap. other than that, its all good

Love the taco. One of the nicer, relatively stock, tastefully modded tacos on here. Good choice on the wheels color too. Bronze and black is getting old.

Noticed you said you painted your front chrome grille and bumper, how did your buddy prep all that, I was under the assumption that you cant paint well over chrome. How is it holding up?

 

just scuffed the chrome real well with a 3m scuff pad, wiped it down, taped it and used a adhesion promotor prior to prime and the base coats. He used 3 layers of the base with 3 coats of the clear. Its been i believe almost 2 years now and hasnt peeled or chipped.

 

Hmmm good to know, thanks. I absolutely despise chrome and SnowTaco want to be all white!!
